Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

This Cancellation Policy explains how you can cancel your subscription to Ryan Labs services (ClinixPro, StitchDesk, and LaundryApp) and what happens to your account and data after cancellation.

2. Your Right to Cancel

You have the right to cancel your subscription at any time, for any reason. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees. You retain full access to the Services until the end of your current billing period.

3. How to Cancel Your Subscription

You can cancel your subscription using any of the following methods:

3.1 Self-Service Cancellation

  1. Log in to your account on our platform
  2. Navigate to Account Settings or Billing
  3. Select "Cancel Subscription" or "Manage Subscription"
  4. Follow the prompts to confirm cancellation
  5. You will receive a confirmation email

Please provide your account email address and confirmation that you wish to cancel.

4. Effective Date of Cancellation

When you cancel your subscription:

  • The cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You will not be charged for the next billing cycle
  • You retain full access to all features until the end of the paid period
  • No prorated refunds are provided for the unused portion of the current billing period (see Refund Policy for exceptions)

Example:

If you cancel on May 15th and your billing cycle renews on May 30th, you will have access until May 30th, and your subscription will not renew on May 30th.

5. Immediate Cancellation

If you wish to cancel your subscription immediately and stop access right away:

  • Contact our support team to request immediate cancellation
  • Your access will be terminated immediately
  • No refund will be provided for the unused portion unless eligible under our Refund Policy
  • This option is typically used if you no longer wish to use the service or have data security concerns

6. Free Trial Cancellation

If you are on a free trial:

  • You can cancel at any time during the trial period
  • You will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends
  • Your access will continue until the end of the trial period
  • No credit card charge will occur

7. What Happens After Cancellation

7.1 Account Status

After your subscription ends:

  • Your account will be downgraded to a "cancelled" status
  • You will lose access to all premium features
  • You will not be able to log in or use the Services
  • Automated notifications (WhatsApp, SMS, email) will stop

7.2 Data Retention

After cancellation:

  • Your data will be retained for 60 days to allow for reactivation
  • During this period, you can reactivate your subscription and regain access to your data
  • After 60 days, your data may be permanently deleted from our systems
  • We recommend exporting your data before cancellation (see Data Export below)

7.3 Data Export

Before cancelling, we strongly recommend exporting your data:

  • Log in to your account
  • Navigate to Settings → Data Export
  • Request a data export in CSV or JSON format
  • Download your data within 7 days

8. Reactivating Your Subscription

If you cancel and later decide to return:

  • You can reactivate your subscription at any time within 60 days of cancellation
  • Your data will be restored if reactivated within the 60-day window
  • After 60 days, you will need to start with a new account
  • Pricing may have changed since your original subscription

9. Downgrading vs. Cancelling

If you're considering cancellation due to cost or features:

  • Consider downgrading to a lower-tier plan instead of cancelling
  • Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period
  • You retain access to basic features and your data
  • Contact us to discuss plan options that might better fit your needs

10. Cancellation by Ryan Labs

We reserve the right to cancel your subscription in the following circumstances:

  • Violation of our Terms of Service
  • Fraudulent activity or payment disputes
  • Abuse of our Services or systems
  • Non-payment or failed payment after reasonable notice

In such cases, we will notify you via email and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue before permanent termination.

11. Annual Subscriptions

For annual subscription plans:

  • You can cancel at any time to prevent the next annual renewal
  • You retain access until the end of your annual term
  • No prorated refunds for the unused portion (except within the 30-day money-back guarantee period)
  • Cancellation must be made before the annual renewal date to avoid being charged for the next year
